Online quotes rely on the property details you provide. Should the actual property differ materially (such as in size, storeys, access or scope), we will contact you to confirm any price adjustment before the inspection proceeds.
You arrange safe entry to the property at the agreed time, including getting the builder or agent's permission. If the property is not accessible when the inspector arrives, a call-out fee may apply.
Each inspection involves a visual check of accessible areas on the day. The assessment follows the relevant Australian Standard and matches the service details provided on the booking page. Hidden or blocked areas are not inspected and are recorded in the final report.
Reports are written for the client who paid for them. They show the state of the property on the day it was inspected. These reports do not act as a warranty or guarantee for future issues. You cannot use these reports if you did not ask us to write them, unless we sign a written agreement with you.
Payment is required prior to issuing the report, unless a different arrangement is authorised in writing. Fees are inclusive of GST.
You can cancel or change the booking at no cost provided you give at least 24 hours' warning. If you cancel with less notice, a charge will apply to cover the inspector's time.
Our liability for a claim caused by an inspection is capped at the amount you paid for that service. We cannot remove your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
